Just finished smoking 2017 Watch City Deluxe Crumb Cut in a 2016 Peretti's M.T. Natural made in Holland straight smooth brown Algerian briar billiard with a tapered black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. When Molly Danger leaves the kitchen, I'll see which ferals need to eat. Sleepy Suzy ate some minutes ago.

Now smoking year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a 2015 Ryan Alden quarter bend burgundy sandblasted Queen of Hearts freehand with a black acrylic saddle stem. Molly's in the den, so I'll see who's hungry outside.

Love that shape and blast. Are those panel edges i see?

Watching Nosferatu (1922), appropriately, with a bowl of Night Owl in a Pete System Deluxe PSB as the sun fades from the horizon. If only it was a dracula could it be more fitting! Finishing my green tea and thinking about a single malt before bed.

Davidoff Malawi in a small, special design, MM corn cob pipe, which I have many many years and I love very very much...

I was floored to see the Malawian flag here! My parents lived there for 15 years and my brother still does. I never liked the smell of most southern African tobacco, though it was almost always cigarette smoke which I don't like anyway. I hope you enjoyed it!

After several smokes in a cob, I can appreciate why they get so much love -
# Wide open draw
# Dry, absorbent walls mean little moisture and minimal gurgles. But most importantly tobacco stays drier and stays lit.
# Smooth cobs have thick walls filled with plaster which stay cool even if smoked fast and furiously
# Cheap, plentiful and readily replaced

In other words - a most forgiving pipe

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Watching the Braves-Rangers game. Went out to call for Abner the Eager a couple of times this evening with no success. Tomato the Brave was taking it easy on the truck of my car. He looked at me when I called for Abner with a "Whatcha want that runt for when ya got me?" look.

No, but I can see why you'd think so from the photo.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2000 SWRA in a straight smooth 2024 Peterson Red Killarney 264 Canadian with metal accents around the shank and a black acrylic p-lip stem. Watching the Orioles-Rockies game with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.

IMG_0443.jpegSmoking a Grabow Royalton Bulldog and some HU Tuarekh gifted by our good friend @LotusEater. As you can see from the picture, it is somewhat dark here. I took a nap at 2pm and woke up at 11:15 pm. Now I am in a quandary - so I am smoking a pipe and drinking some tea - Sleepy Time. I did find some more Tuarekh in a pipe shop in Cologne, Germany - they have a truly magnificent pipe shop I've bought pipes from in the past. If you are ever in Cologne, I highly recommend a stop. A brilliant selection of tobaccos.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a straight, black sandblasted pre-1970 Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight Liverpool 309 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just fed Tomato the Brave, and he's playing with catnip toys now.
