Did a set of walking reps under hot and humid skies, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Gained less weight from yesterday than I expected, so I'm going off my diet for lunch.

10:30 AM Pacific Time. Morning smoke, McQueen Miniature, Tobacco: my usual Navy, perique and cubed molasses cured burly, "Rockwell" by TobaccoBarn. I like a bold, short smoke of about 15-20 minutes as I plan my day, and have 4 favoured tobaccos in the AM: Rockwell and Black Frigate, a recent and treasured addition (both Navys), Backwoods Buttered Rum, a rather crude and loveable ersatz aromatic, and anthing else I fancy with a bit of a snarl to it.

The McQueen miniatures fill this short smoke niche perfectly, as all of the various styles have the same size bowl, either 3/4" or 5/8" in depth, 14mm in diameter. Thimble size, can only get my little finger into the top. Depending on the burning rate and dryness of the tobacco, I can get from 15 - 25 minutes from these pipes, of which I have 8 of varying styles. This time of the morning, I don't want any more. I sit there puffing, planning and organizing my day.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple on the side. I'm near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Coffee from a freshly opened bag of Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink.
