Jody Davis is definitely one of the top five American carvers today--the others being Jeff Gracik (J.Alan), J.T. Cooke, Larry Roush, and Todd Johnson, IMHO.

Im no expert but I’m in agreement. I also like Abe Herbaugh, David Huber, and Trey Rice, not as much experience but they seem to be coming into their own styles.

Oh, Alex Florov has some skills and lots of experience, his daughter is killing it as well.

A couple of minutes away from smoking Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Going to work now.

Of the 25 or so Petersons I have I have yet to get an Irish Harp.
That is a really good looking pipe. Going to have to look for one now.

Thank you. I find myself grabbing my Peterson #53's more and more lately, the Irish Harp was on my list and available. I think it looks even better in person then in the photos.
