First I intended to make a poker but messed up the shank on a wood lathe. I cut it of and made a different short nosewarmer like pipe with steel tube and a handmade stem from an ebonite rod. It smokes very well, this time a burley blend, Ralph‘s Burley Cup from Tom Darasz in Kiel.
Good day all! Starting this thick, humid Florida morning with nice, light Peterson Flake in a small Upshall sandblast Dublin with smooth rim and eighth-bent tapered stem size 3-4.
Next up, 515-RC1 in a cob. I think I prefer ol’ Hal in the cob and 515 in a briar, but I really like the tang of this matured red Virginia.
Makes me wish I could’ve started my pipe journey earlier so I could’ve known what McClelland 5100 was like…

I know the Clay King doesn't normally smoke Latakia / Orientals but the shop I went to only had 3 different pipe tobaccos. Would be a good baccy for when the blacksmith lights my clay pipe with an ember from his forge
