Smoking Sutliff Virginia Slices in a cob. Smoked my first bowl in a week yesterday after finally getting my turn with the Rona. Other than a lingering loss of appetite, I'm good.

I am smoking some of Gawith & Hoggarth's Dark Birdseye Vintage Cut. Didn't realize it when I ordered it that vintage cut means a shag. It's more of a RYO tobacco but it turns out to be a very enjoyable smoke in a pipe.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem.

Now smoking year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Watching the Astros-Royals game.

I’ve opened a 2 year old jar of PS LTF for today’s smoke. It appears to have darkened a bit in that time. It’s improved from the first time trying it, but it’s still not knocking my socks off. Maybe it’s the power of suggestion, but I am getting a faint coconut vibe. I might play around and stove the rest.
