Did a little snacking, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2012 Sutliff BRG in a brown “rocky” smooth medium bend 1970s Peterson 309 Standard sculpted billiard military mount with a nickel ferrule and a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Another glorious afternoon of sun and breeze in the back yard cried out for a G&T and a short smoke. My wife and I shared a Bombay Sapphire and Fever Tree in a very large tumbler of bergs garnished with fresh-cut lime, as I enjoyed a Romeo y Julieta "Romeos 1875" small cigar. Almost Nirvana.

About a third of a bowl left of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I'll finish the day with this smoke.

I have not posted much on the 'What are Smoking' thread of recent due to the heat and the pressures of work. I have been hard at it since 4.30 this morning trying to clear out the back log of crap before I head off to Finland for a family wedding. Two weeks involving tall blond people with blue eyes who drink a lot, no bars to speak of and a state owned liquor distributor Alko were you purchase your booze and spend your entire weekly income on a packet of Clan tobacco. What could possibly go wrong with letting me into the country? This morning I am kicking off my day with this small meerschaum 'cutty' pipe made by a French carver and enjoying an Espresso coffee whilst I smoke a bowl of G&H Broken Flake No:7 with a little Coniston Cut plug added for spice. In this extreme heat I find my 'Baccy Flap' is perfect for muling around small amounts of tobacco. It is a shame I was never able to get my neighbor to make any after setting him up with all the equipment but you don't know if you don't try! Have a good boys.

Got home last night from Madison, WI where we had a great visit to the campus and a pleasant trip all around. It was good to see where my baby girl is planning to live for the next few years and while I never considered being a Badger fan, it looks like I'll now be giving it a shot. Being from Kansas originally and a Jayhawk fan (sorry @Tar Wheel I know that last tournament game stung) and having lived in Minnesota for the last 30 years, this is going to take some getting used to.

I'll be sitting here smoking some Capstan while pondering these changes.
