Keep an eye on yourself and see a doctor right away if you start having any swelling. I did the same tumble and landing many years ago on crunches with a broken ankle, the landing on my butt caused a dvt in the other leg which I didn't find out about until later !! You may not think its serious because you're generally tough otherwise, so am I, but freak falls cause freak results. Just a word of caution from a fellow slip and fallee ... Hope you feel better soon and it wasn't like mine ! Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I may be wrong but it sounded like you said you painted your steps. This could be a reoccurring problem. I would suggest applying a second d
coat with some play sand mixed in the paint.

Five Brothers isn't that strong. A bit weaker than a cigarette. Tambolaka, mapacho, and rustica are quite a bit stronger.
