Good afternoon. After lunch. Let's start smoking, a bowl of C&D Mountain Camp, in a MM General pipe. We accompany it with a glass of whisky, and a black coffee. 96.8 °F - 50% humidity. The TV news, every summer, announces the apocalypse of extreme heat and fires, but this happens every year. You can watch a TV archive, from thirty years ago, and it's the same thing. That's why I stopped watching the news a long time ago, from any media, it's all real disinformation garbage.
I hadn't really posted in this thread alot this month. I dunno why. Anyhow, I'm getting some research and studying done in my office enjoying a bowl of C&D Burley Flake #5 in a Peterson Nassau St 221 (15/16).

2012 Rotary Navy Cut in a Rad Davis Apple.
Started off with a black coffee and union square, progressing to a 2021 Crinkle Flake and chocolate milk. My next bowl will be my next to last of a tin of Dunhill Dark flake 
1st bowl of day - in MM Mark Twain Cob - Country Squire Old Tobey -- my usual; Columbian coffee and light cream accompanying in large quantities. 2nd bowl Old Tobey in Vauen Olaf bent egg over rest of morning with two re-lights; awaiting cooling rain to blow out humidity.
It's a humid morning in the panhandle of West Virginia, but the pipe tastes good. I am smoking my Balandis Pear pipe with Queen Annes's Revenge (Barbados Plantation) in it. It is the first Pear pipe that I have ever smoked to any extent and I must admit that it is a fine pipe. It isn't better than my briars but I like the feel in my hand and it has a good draw. Queen Anne's Revenge is always a pleasant tobacco for any time of day.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

My first taste of Reiner Blend 71. A wonderful change of pace from the sweeter Virginias i favor, lots of wheat with a subtle sweetness and lemony goodness where as I’m used to more of that orange zest citrus. Very nice!
Did a set of walking reps in the awful heat and humidity, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
Now smoking 2021 Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.
Enjoying a bowl of GH's Dark Bird's Eye in a vintage cut. Vintage cut means a shag cut.
A bowl of EMP in my Aran 408 -- a good combo on a bit of a humid and cloudy day. Got a few emails to knock out and thought a pipe would help motivate me.
