I’m off, after a half day, on this blistering hot Friday. There’s shade on the porch, so I’m going to smoke a bowl of Anthology and try not to sweat while I’m doing it. Large glass of ice water to keep me hydrated.

Just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Fresh Country Squire Old Toby in a Vauen Olaf bent egg ... smooth, sweet, tasty, relaxing. The bent egg is developing a nice carbon coat in the bowl after a reaming and sanding to remove the foul tasting chamber coating. Boat Tail grackles, robins, titmice, and chipmunks are dining on the wild raspberries ... the chipmunks, having dined on the lower branches have now climbed up the plants to the second level of berries and seem gloriously content ! I am amazed at how restrained they are ... they eat so much, leave, come back later for more. I'll have to try that diet !

Did a set of walking reps, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
