Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite.

Did a little snacking, and am smoking Wilke Hearth of Galway in an undated smooth straight medium brown made in France Saillard Lord Clerit lumberman with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Working and listening to William Conrad in Gunsmoke.

I enjoyed an early evening pipe out in the yard, an old clay filled with Gandalf and Hogwarts 1792 Flake, and a Bombay Sapphire G&T, shared with my wife.
By the way, I think that G&H tobaccos smoke so well in a clay.
@dino I agree that G&H tobacco smokes well in a clay pipe.
I've seen old pictures of Samuel Gawith with a clay pipe; can you imagine how many clay pipes have been smoked with Gawith tobacco over the years???

Dixieland
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've about a third of a bowl left of year 2016 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the All-Star game.

Damn! I forgot about the All-Star game. The Braves had 2 catchers on the team, what a strange occurrence.
