Certainly not the finest pipe ever made, but I think we have established it has a bit of lore and mystic like this panther it is sitting on, a first generation seven pointed three star Lee bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Inside the bull is some 1Q with Frosty Mint - just a smidgeon mind you.
A bowl of 2013 McClelland's #2020 cube cut and gravity filled in this Nate King pencil-shank meerschaum, puffing and watching the color develop of this one...:
Watch City Slices in a Georg Jensen bent brandy. Sad to hear this blend has gone to the big pipe in the sky. Still have a few ounces stashed, but it's a drag. I'm excited to try the replacement I've been hearing about.
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've about a third of a bowl left of year 2016 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the All-Star game.
McClelland Deep Hollow in a SmithHouse virgin pot. Liking this blend quite a bit. topping is nice and subtle and melds quite well with the naturally sweet VA.
Did a little snacking, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight black with burgundy undertone sandblasted early 1960s Lane era Charatan 420 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I sure wish the announcers would talk a lot less to the players, and concentrate more on calling the game. Overkill takes a lot of the fun out of it for me.
Turkey burgers tonight...and my Medico Whitewall straight billiard appropriately loaded with Esoterica And So To Bed. Mentally preparing myself for seeing my in-laws on Thursday. A trip to Tobacco Trader (LA's last B&M) afterward will be something of a pyrrhic victory for me. ?
Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have about a quarter of a bowl left of Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Been at work since I started smoking this bowl.
