Going to light up Presbyterian in a Dr. Grabow CDL (Cooler, Drier, Lighter) with a briar bowl, metal shank, and nylon stem (a Dr. Grabow filter is in the thicker section in front of the stem). The diminutive bowl has a carburetor in the front. This pipe was produced from about 1975–1983 in limited quantities and test marketed in several cities, but, not ever mass marketed. This particular one is not stamped “CDL,” nor does it have the cancellation crosshatching over the CDL stamp seen on many. I have no idea if this is an early or late iteration.
