Today, I braised some lamb shanks, roasted a pork shoulder, smoked a My Father 'Centurion' toro, then a bowl of Windjammer, a PDR Shade and now I'm finishing the day with a Tatuaje 'Reserva' Broadleaf with a glass of Whistle Pig 10 year rye. The combination pulls chocolate and cinnamon notes out of the whiskey and I dig it.

2017 Butera Royal Vintage Sweet Cavendish in a Peterson Limerick 69. My first brand name pipe bought over 30 years ago. It’s gotten a lot of use in all that time, and has a replacement stem made by Rich Lewis. It hasn’t been smoked in a while.

Did a little snacking, and am almost half way through this bowl of Wilke Peanut Butter and Chocolate in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin (GBD second) sitter with a flared top and yellow saddle stem.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have about a third of a bowl left of Wilke Gentry Royal Blend No. 2 in a 1975 three quarter bend black Dunhill Shell 52021 billiard with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Been watching Thelonious Monk: Straight, No Chaser.
