the spicy ghosting has been reduced to a table seasoning level, and the smoke is becoming more what it should be. This one needs a little effort to smoke dry, but overall very satisfied. Hope y’all set your week off on good footing.

Planta MMXII Ripe Marula Fruit in my hobby block meer. Smoking some pork butts on the smoker.
I just opened the airway on this stummel up to 5/32”, and it smokes sooo much drier now. A difference of night and day. I was getting condensation and thought it was the stem’s fault at first, but it seems like the stummel’s airway was my moisture culprit. I had been using a fluffy pipe cleaner about five or six times per smoke (and I’m not a “wet” smoker), but haven’t needed to touch one this time.
I just opened the airway on this stummel up to 5/32”, and it smokes sooo much drier now. A difference of night and day. Close to finishing this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
Packed and fixing to smoke Sutliff Field and Stream Match in a special edition MM nose warmer with acrylic stem. This is a good cob blend.
