I have no idea. I like too many blends for many different reasons. I will say my all time favorite smoke was the old VaPer Three Nuns, which hasn't been made since 2003.

Three Sails Jim? Isn't that the knock off of what used to be called Three Castles that was a U.S pipe tobacco and a U.K RYO sold in a Green Tin?
Yes, it is. Mark Ryan produced Three Castles the last few years it was made, and when TC was discontinued, Mark kept making it, but he changed the name to Three Sails.
Smoking a bowl of Warrior Plug before settling down to an extra spicy vegetable curry - the type we Brits describe as a 'ring burner' when you have to put the old loo roll in the freezer an hour before tackling the curry. Gives a whole new meaning to life during the time of the plague.
Thought so. The U.K version looked like golden hair and was very moist and only good for RYO. The U.S version was a brown color and pretty good and apparently was very popular also as a RYO. You sometimes see cutter top tins of the stuff surface but I have always assume it was the U.K W &H.O Wills RYO stuff.
GH Brown Flake Licorice in a Taylor era XXX Old Church Panel Billiard - one of my favorite pipes. This is my first bowl of this blend and while I don’t get a hint of any kind of flavoring it is a delicious, full, sweet and creamy smoke. I will be looking to get more of this for sure!
Now smoking year 2010 STG Schippers in a 1977 straight black rusticated Sir Brent 253 billiard with a silver band repair and a brown pearl grey acrylic tapered stem. I wish I could get more of this.
