Doing some "tests" today on pipe material. Smoking a mixture of 25/75 GH&Co American Nougat and C&D Bayou Morning Flake; just finished a bowl of it in the Nate King meerschaum prince, and now I'm smoking it out of this S. Bang briar brandy while I'm loading up another bowl in a Mark Tinsky morta bulldog.

Just finished smoking Smoker’s Pride Mellow Taste in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega military mount with a nickel band and a black vulcanite stem with a p-lip. Came back inside to get another walking pipe.

Smoking some Esoterica Dorchester in a custom billiard by Dave Soucy. Brindle stem, diamond shank, paneled billiard with the paneled angled slightly inward. I sketched it and Dave made it for me with some briar he picked up from Ccheda when we went to the Chicago Show in 2019. Great pipe for Virginias.
