First smoke of Ken Byron Ventures Ravens Eye - Which is Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake matured by some treatment.
It tastes very good on its own. I have not smoked PS Luxury Bullseye ? Flake yet, so I will not know how does it compare to fresh and / or aged LBF till I acquire them for my cellar

Half way through this bowl of Smoker’s Pride Mellow Taste in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega military mount with a nickel band and a black vulcanite stem with a p-lip. Just finished my first set of walking reps on this very humid day. Ice water and plenty of floaty widdle icebergs is my drink.

Spent yesterday on the water catching fresh sockeye with some CD XX Flake Dark in a red sanblasted Eltang Basic, Rattray’s Winter 2019 in a MM Washington Cob, and some KBV River of Deceit in a smooth Nording Compass. A great day.
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am part way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Live Wire in a smooth almost full bend 1981 Briar Workshop round brandy signed by Elliott Nachwalter with a pearl gold acrylic stem. Have a bowl or two left of this blend.
Dumped out two bowls (one semi-aromatic Virginia and one berry topped Virginia) at the 1/3 way. Both just weren’t doing it for me. I smelled a bag of G&H Dark Birdseye this morning and it smelled great. So I packed a bowl and enjoyed it. Another one I haven’t smoked in years and I never warmed up to it. I used to have a friend in the late 90’s that only smoked Dark Birdseye. After this bowl I can see why. I enjoy more Lakeland’s now, and this had a slight essence.
First time smoking Haddo's Delight. I needed this. Surprisingly refreshing smoke. Peterson SH Watson.

Oh man, I love sockeye! We rarely get any in our food stores in my part of Tennessee. I’d love to come to your neck of the woods and do some fishing one of these days! I’d also love to go moose, caribou, brown bear and black bear hunting up there some day. I’ve got the guns, just ain’t got the funds......
