Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. All the cats are eating now. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

How are you liking the Redburn? I just got into some that has been in a jar for three years and the added flavoring is much more integrated with the leaf. I didn’t care for it fresh but now I’m digging it.

Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave walked with me for a couple of minutes and followed me to the house. He stopped when he saw Daisy the Feral Princess body blocking the deck steps. I gave her a head scratch and came inside. Harry the Hairy stayed in and is snoozin'.

My first smoke of 2026 got interrupted by a water leak. Got that squared away and it was time to leave for a New Years lunch with friends. So I’m just now able to enjoy my first smoke of the year with the very last of my McClelland 2020 Matured Cake. Sad to see the last of this one but I sure am enjoying the first bowl of the year.

What a beautiful day! Wife and I took a 5 mile walk around town. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed fresh Mahi blackened on a salad. Back home now sitting on the deck in gym shorts. My kind of winter day and, I hope an omen for things to come. Dunhill Flake in this Peterson DeLuxe. Remaining morning coffee on ice.

I’ve been waiting to try the Fires on The Levee somewhat impatiently. The tin note on this is so inviting- smoky mesquite, plum, sweet and spicy.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy, neat, is my drink. Watching JFK: Revisited, a very informative documentary.
