Finished work, and this bowl of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051 dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave. Watching Hopalong Cassidy.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
I had a bowl of Sutliff BRB in my MM. Probably the blandest thing I've ever smoked but I'll give it another in a few months. Whether I like it then or not I'll be reserving judgement as the tin is pretty old and maybe too much air has leaked. I found collecting dust on a Tinder Box shelf, I bought it thinking it was one of the many things about to be axed by STG only to later learn it was discontinued years ago and only on the market for a few years. At least I relieved the shop of a proverbial shelf turd.

Just finished smoking 2018 Sutliff Walnut Match in a 1990s smooth brown medium bend briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite stem. Off to sleep soon.

Today being Friday, Welsh class this morning... learning Welsh is like learning to plaster a wall. First it sticks a while, then most of it falls off, and you despair. Then when you get the hang of it, more and more of it stays stuck
