CRF w/ Perique 2023 with a bit of Chenet's Cake mixed in (~2/3 to 1/3). Tasty combination. Smoking a freshly cleaned Peterson Christmas 2023 69.
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Jim’s Special Flake 2023 in a 1984 black rusticated full bend Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching The People's House: A White House Experience on C-Span3 which is the American History TV channel on weekends and when Congress is not in session. They broadcast a great many biographical lectures, documentaries, and discussions on all aspects of our history.
All Mac Barren is good.
But to cellar only one, that’s where I’m curious of which. Ready rub vanilla or coin cut vanilla.
Just smoked some John cottons cream. It’s hard to beat.

I’m not sure if it grows this far north, but I’d be willing to consult a field guide, pack a pipe, and head out for a woodsy trek. Or, just order the dang stuff
Okay, I smoked the Kendal Cream on the way home from work. Excellent Virginia and Burley leaf! There was very little of the Lakeland essence, almost none at all. This blend is very tobacco forward. I would guess cased, not topped. I really enjoyed the blend, but it’s not the one I want to cellar. I have two more Lakeland blends on the way. We will see.

Near the last quarter of this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a 1984 smooth brown full bend Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. The fella who found a home for Long Tail got a recent photo of her with the other cats in the home. She looks a lot like her mom Sam the Scamp, but is bigger, and has some of Harry the Hairy's coloring.
Finishing the day with a bowl of HU 5th Anniversary in a Stanwell apple the kids bought me a few years back. This is the HU blend with the balsamic vinegar topping. Sweet, creamy, a little sour…a really great smoke.
Now smoking year 2018 Mac Baren HH Burley Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1918 Pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 2 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.
