Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a straight smooth brown 1933-1945 Comoy’s patent Grand Slam 159 *4 apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Then, I smoked a bowl of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem.

Currently, I've passed the last third of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Been busy with various things, including a long chat with a friend. The ferals have full bellies more or less. Still haven't seen Abner the Eager, and with snow and sleet coming later today, I doubt I'll see him until the bad weather passes.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. I'll end the day with this smoke. Reading with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

Warm spell today ! About 7 degrees warmer today so I had some dry Match Sunrise in the Vauen Olaf bent egg with 9mm filter. Columbian coffee and light cream is my drink. The Match Sunrise has some age on it and has mellowed quite a bit. With windchill its allegedly 15-25 degrees but I would say closer to the 25. Yesterday it was about 12 degrees.
Now trying some Peterson Night cap which is very tasty, no bite and a little goes a long way. Quickly satisfying and perfect for shorter duration smokes.
