Good afternoon. Smoking Kendal Flake in the Cinar meerschaum
I just cracked this can of 2004 dark twist and it’s luxury in tobacco. Altinok meerschaum.
C&D WR Comet in a 2007 Rad Davis.
Bosun Cut Plug in an Altinay Spigot Pot. Diet Coke on the side.
Enjoyed a medium size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins, followed by a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast. After that, I had a medium size bowl of chili topped with cheddar cheese, and a golden delicious apple. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink. I was happy to learn that my old college buddy didn't get buried under the snow storm in Iowa.
At first I thought breakfast. Then I saw the chili and thought, okay, maybe it's lunch. But then I saw the apple and now I have no idea what meal this was supposed to be.
Uhles Irish Aromatic in a weird Viking (purchased at Uhles, coincidentally). I don't know if it's the weather or what but I'm on this big latakia kick. And Mrs. Brewfan says it's one of the best room notes. Go figure.
Weather and the sniffles have kept me from the pipe since New Years Eve. No longer, I say!

SV Mellow in a Parker. Catching up on here and reading some tobacco reviews. I'm trying to decide which "codger" blend to buy and try first. Leaning towards SWRA, but Velvet sounds interesting too.

You are so blessed. I have to go: aro; aro; aro; slide in a VA; aro; aro; VaPer, mild wife aggro; aro; aro; Lat blend when she's out and still catch hell. All my English/ oriental adventures occur outdoors to avoid wife aggro. She loooves the Aros, though so I grouse, but am happy.
Excellent. Similar to Chenets but has a sweetness to it that I don't pick up in Chenets.
From my limited experience with codgers (Half&Half, SWR, Five Bros), my favorite has been Five Brothers.
This blend is a beautifully odd one. Tastes English, smells Aromatic. I'd suggest you give it a go!

Half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
I have some Five Brothers I bought just to smoke in my kiseru since it's probably as close to the cut of Japanese tobacco that I can get. I'll have to try it in a regular pipe.
2023's crop of homegrown (~95% Samsun 5% Rustica), which was later spiced up with some bulk DFK, and rehydrated with a splash of Raki, in my Altinok billiard with a silver band from when I cracked the stem a li'l. I suppose technically this is actually my cheapest tobacco.
