A pleasure looking at these old, well kept pipes!

Hi everyone. I haven’t been on much the last couple months. Lost my dad at the beginning of November and it’s been… well anyway I stopped by to share what I’m smoking. Today I had a bowl of Boswell’s cupcake with my morning coffee and CD Low Country Carolina Christmas to close out my evening. I scored a tin of Esoterica Margate I may open for a special Bday smoke a day early. I hope everyone had a great holiday season. Hope to be a regular again.
So sorry to hear this sad news. Many condolences.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a smooth dark brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam 340 patent billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed all the ferals except for the absent Tomato the Brave. He did eat earlier, though.

Breaking in the new Savinelli with a bowl of Boswell's Best. This is a new blend for me I don't smoke vanilla blends very often, but I really like this. Rich, dark vanilla without obscuring the quality of the tobacco. I was visiting a friend at the time, and he was very complimentary about the room note.
This is my first Savinelli pipe and the first pot shape (122) in my collection. The bowl is large and wide so I'm looking forward to smoking an English blend in this bad boy! puffy

At first glance I thought you'd been invaded by tapeworms, lol. That's a very interesting pipe btw. Info?
Thanks! And sorry for delay. Pipe is a kk antiquari Castello. They did a run of these little pot-billiards a few years ago. I got 2, and love both

Roots are from Phalaenopsis orchids, which I've got all over the place. They don't really grow into soil/planting medium, or need to, but most growers anchor at least some of them in something (woodchips, peat moss)

Pretty sure most (if not all) Phal flowers are edible too...

During our weekly Saturday afternoon ZOOM meeting, that took a bizarre turn in which we spent more than half an hour discussing spiders and snakes, I smoked a bowlful of Samovar in the Peterson 2002 Pipe of the Year that my wife bought for me at the Grafton Shop, during our trip to Ireland in 2002. I found out later, after we returned home, that the pipe was supposed to come with a stand. I wrote to Peterson and told them it wasn't provided at the time of the sale, and they sent me one, gratis.
By the way, my beverage during the meeting was a mug of Jack Daniel's Tennesse Whiskey Coffee.
