Thank you, sir! I've had it a year or so...old stock in my semi-local B&M...I succumbed to a bout of haggling where we were both happy. It is relatively heavy, but smokes great! and I think it looks good, too.Elegant pipe to the max. Don't think I've seen that one before.
You'll have to forgive my newbieness, but what exactly is this?Still gearing up for Flaketastic February!
Oh very straightforward: get out your flakes for smoking in February! Participation is strictly voluntary. You are not required to exclusively smoke flakes, nor any flakes at all. But if you have a flake in your cellar and needed any more excuse to get into it: you're welcome! You'll have to forgive my newbieness, but what exactly is this?
What's this I hear...........1792 being relegated because the taste spuds have fatigued, you extol the virtues of this blend against all others and now this. Oh Lordy you're lucky the Best Blend thread is locked or it would be carnage
Five Brothers is some powerful leaf.Hey, everyone gets palate fatigue sometimes! Besides, I've always had a soft spot for heavily topped aromatics where you can retrohale every puff with no sinus discomfort and never have to worry about smoking too much and getting nicotine sickness; and Captain Black Original and Lane Very Cherry both definitely meet that criteria. If it makes ya feel any better I did smoke some C&D Cordial and Haunted Bookshop the other day though.
I also followed through with my idea of picking up pouches of Borkum Riff Mixture with Bourbon Whiskey and Five Brothers to try, and hopefully shake me out of the blend boredom funk I've been in lately. Some Briar Fox is sounding pretty good right about now too, so I might have to dip into that jar tonight.

Hopefully there’ll be no emergency cactus removal operations!
Haha, 1792 will do that to you and just proves the point that its not the best blend if it makes you feel like shitehopefully shake me out of the blend boredom funk
