After recovering consciousness from my early morning bowl of Rustica, trying another new to me blend, pipe force vi, in a new to me pipe, a full-bent Savinelli punto oro 615.

The pipe has a nice bit, hangs and smokes like a champ, but the tobacco proved to be a huge disappointment; no toy in the tin!

Nice pipe.
I liked VI better than IV or V, but I think I like II better so far. Still have III to try.
(I was gifted a sample pack of all 6; I think was distributed at a pipe show...)

Thanks. Notwithstanding the lack of the toy, I liked the tobacco. I'll have to give II a go.

Busy few days. Getting things lined for cataract surgery next tues. I live alone, so rides to and from had to be arranged. I'm cooking up lots of easy fix meals and freezing them. Trying to make everything as smooth as possible. Won't be posting for a while after, as they say not to stress your eyes. No smoke either. But I don't smoke every day anyway. For today however, I am smoking my all time favorite, Shepherd's Pie, in my rusticated Brigham. Good day all.

Another spring like weather day. Chores done for now. PS LBF in the Kaywoodie Apple Signet with some nice hand carving. Another one of my Grandpa Mac’s pipes I inherited. A glass of ice water accompanying.
