Busy few days. Getting things lined for cataract surgery next tues. I live alone, so rides to and from had to be arranged. I'm cooking up lots of easy fix meals and freezing them. Trying to make everything as smooth as possible. Won't be posting for a while after, as they say not to stress your eyes. No smoke either. But I don't smoke every day anyway. For today however, I am smoking my all time favorite, Shepherd's Pie, in my rusticated Brigham. Good day all.View attachment 283885
Good luck! My mom just had that done and the recovery time was pretty quick.

Thank you sir! Yes, I keep hearing the same thing. Be glad when it's done! Then it's on to the other eye! Sigh. I will not be nervous. I will not....
My wife who was EXTREMELY APPREHENSIVE before having her one eye done was as calm as as could be for her second and was even looking forward to the benefit of having her other one done. Best wishes sent.

Nice ashtray. My dad only drank Olympia when I was a kid. I still drink it when I can find it on the store shelves. I actually went on a tour of the Olympia Brewery when I was a kid. It's a shame it's no longer open, and worse Olympia is made in California now or at least it was. I'm not sure it's even being made anymore. :(

I have it for the irony of it lol. I lived in Oly for a few years and was miserable as I went through my divorce. Found the tray in an antique mall in Madison Wi a few years ago but one day I’ll get a bigger, better, one.

But thanks!

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of 2019 HU Directors Cut in a 1970s slight bend medium brown Caminetto business 134 poker with a pearl gold acrylic stem.

Currently, I am just finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. It's been a very busy day.
