Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I have just under a third of a bowl left of year 2015 John Aylesbury Sir John’s Flake Virginia in a straight smooth light brown 2020 Ryan Alden Ace of Spades squat bulldog with a spalted pecan top and ferrule that’s attached to the tapered black acrylic stem.

Another evening of firsts.
New estate pipe a Don Regular 39, a bent sandblast apple with a dark finish. It is a square shanked sitter with a very large chamber. This is the second Don pipe I have acquired; it smokes beautifully.
I broke it in with LJP Century an awesome light English blend, very pleasant with nice floral notes throughout.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Off to work now. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
