We just finished a late lunch/early dinner. Our neighbor gave us some deer meat. We marinated and cooked that along with some reduced mushrooms in wine sauce and some spinach.
Im drying some HU White Horses. I tried this blend with covid and couldnt taste squat. Time to hit it again in a Neerup.
Im going to have to grab more Neerup pipes. I have a couple. My only issue is that for some reason, even if they are different shapes they look a little too similiar. I will have to shop them some more. Great smokers and at such a good price point.
No one talks much about White horses. I think this will go on my list to stock. its a nice tobacco anytime and I think its overlooked because so many cigar leaf tobaccos just kind of taste like garbage cigars. This one doesnt. The cigar leaf just hangs around filling in gaps. You can certainly taste it but its not trying to be a blend that substiutes for smoking a cigar. It actually uses it in an intersting way.

Just fired up the stove. Now to fire up this healthy bowl of Bosun Plug and relax.
Looking forward to a big day of nothing. Starting it off with WCC ACPM in the Stanwell Bent Dub. Coffee as the sidekick. Thinking about starting 2024 with a first commission.
Took me a little while, but I finally managed to score a birth year Dunhill. This pipe was either rarely smoked or the prior owner took exceptional care of it. Smoking some GLP Chelsea Morning with a big tumbler of coffee on this cold morning.

Carter Hall in the most atypical and oddball Marxman Super Grain early imported briar stamp “Big Boy” I own.
This is the largest $15 size Marxman. If I sanded this pipe it would be white and show no grain at all.
