@PipeIT Love the images & music in the title sequence; it reminds of of Murton Park living history village near York: Murton Park | York Visitor Attraction – Murton Park | York Visitor Attraction - https://murtonpark.co.uk/Sutliff States of Virginia in a Radice Rind Straight.
Getting ready to watch some more Jamestown, and this is certainly a fitting blend for the show too... LOL
Be well everyone!

P.S. This Jamestown show is when the English first settled too in Virginia, notice the English flag in the credits.
I remember the pipe, almost bought it. Mike Sebastian bay. I could be wrong cause I’m old and senile but I’m pretty sure. Second guess is Lasse Scovgaard, but I think it was Mike.Thanks. I think it is sweet too. I can’t say Mike Bay rings any bells; it is probably somebody else. I should look through my email receipts. It is funny, I often forget the maker of my more artisanal pipes. It’s bad really, like not knowing who painted the painting on your living room wall. The Savinelli’s, Nordings and Pete’s and whatnot I always can remember, and then these smaller outfits that could probably benefit more from the recognition don’t get mentioned.
I wish I had a custom resting thing for it so I can set it down yet keep it upright. I should find the maker and commission that…
edit: Outlook Search “pickaxe” = Mike Sebastian Bay. I stand corrected.

You’re correct- I appended my post on page 36 saying as much. It must have been you that commented when I first bought it…Did you ever find a pickaxe to your taste? Here is the original listing
I had one from Lasse Scovgaard, smoked great but traded it recently, it’s in Danish estates on SPC right now actually. It was a great pipe, and I have other Scovgaard I’ll never trade away, just wanted something else more. Several of my Smio Satou Dublins look like pickaxes and I love them. You’re correct- I appended my post on page 36 saying as much. I just looked at it. It is very similar to mine! I really would love a properly notched receptacle to rest my pickaxe on.I had one from Lasse Scovgaard, smoked great but traded it recently, it’s in Danish estates on SPC right now actually. I was noting the same thing and have to agree.......Nice run of Petersons this evening.
I like the stands that are like lazy boys for pipes, I’ll link it to you later.I just looked at it. It is very similar to mine! I really would love a properly notched receptacle to rest my pickaxe on.
