Whew, finally caught up here.

Enjoying a large bowl of 2015 Laurel Heights in a Nording Woodcock
Just smoked the Laurel Heights from our Pipe Club meeting, your sample, yesterday .... wonderful.
QUES: Would you like to do another trade next month? Like before, a half tin of your Union Square & I'll supply another half tin of Esoterica, this time Dunbar?
And a pic you might enjoy:

Did some low calorie snacking, and am smoking Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Listening to Dick Tracy from my radio collection.

Finished the night with some Rattray's Black Virginia with a pinch of C&D Perique, my own Vaper.
Smoked in a CPF French Bent Bulldog. Had some Canadian whiskey (Lord Calvert) alongside.

Ques for all:
I see numerous comments about smoking Exclusive. I'm surprised, a little, since it's listed as 50% Perique.

A third of the way through this bowl of D&R Penhooker in a 1990 straight dark brown Commemorative reproduction of the 1890 Peterson Patent System 12393 stack billiard with a silver band and a bowed black acrylic 32 AB long stem p-lip. This pipe with a bigger bowl smokes faster than my pre-Republic Pete Canadians. The wide draft area and thick bottom are mostly why.

Evening Flake in the 6 panel bent lattice meer, and some localish Nocino from Sidetrack Distillery. Positively driven out for a late smoke due to diabolical internet router issues that cropped up 'out of nowhere' in the brand new router after a couple hours of just great operation. Few things chap me more than sh*t that really just shouldn't happen, happens. Breathe slow.. Sip.. Exhale..."Let it go."

Finished the first page of this story, and will touch it up when the ink dries. I'm near the last quarter of this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend.

It rained all day today, and at one point, Sam the Scamp was banging on the screen door and crying to be let in. When I did, he walked right past Sleepy Suzy, who was sitting on the left arm of my den chair. After he ate, Sam did what he generally does: he ran as fast as he could to jump on the arm of my chair, but oddly enough, he didn’t notice that Suzy was already there. He jumped up and landed on her back. Sam shrieked in surprise, and jumped down to the floor. Suzy had no reaction at all, except to stare at Sam on the floor with a “You big dummy” look. Sam tried again and jumped on my lap this time. After some hissing by Suzy and growling by Sam, he settled down by my left side, and both them calmed down after a couple of minutes.

Sam the Scamp settling down.

Unhappy Suzy.

Later on, Sam was lying on top of my chair when Abner the Eager jumped up there. Sam growled (his common response to everything) at Abner, who just stared intimidatingly at him. Sam got nervous, jumped down to the arm of the chair, and growled at Abner, who took Sam’s spot. Sam decided he wanted to go outside, when I opened the door, Abner followed him out. I knew he would because Abner always jumps on the top of my chair when he wants to go out. In this particular occasion, I think he wanted to send a message to Sam as well.

Glad for you, Patti is indeed a great, great artist and performer! I've seen her live here in Athens, some years ago. There's something very special about the way she stands on the scene and performs. Nick Cave has the same capability, I believe...
He does indeed, I’ve seen him a few times and he’s mesmerising on stage. I’m sure Patti will be the same, I’m really looking forward to it.

@Birddog66 Good to see a photo of you; I'm taking the 1792 Flake to the Battle of Nantwich in the leather tobacco pouch you sent me. How much 1792 Flake do you think I'm going to smoke with the Sealed Knot? Hope it's not too windy to light my clay:)
I know it won’t be in keeping with the event but I’m sure you’ll be forgiven for using a zippo to light up.
