I've got to spray for creeping charlie, burweed and various other broadleaf lawn invading weeds in the next couple of weeks before I reset the bermuda. I've found Trimec Classic does the trick. There's not much to kill as I've kept up with it but I still spray the entire lawn which happens to be 2 acres.
Nice. I just got a 4gal backpack sprayer, and UofA has good old roundup as a good killer of this stuff. There’s better, but roundup is the safest for our horses. Stinknet is pretty noxious, and most research says herbivores leave it alone, but our two idiots are a ton of it this summer, dried and nasty.
Untreated, the little green patches in my prior picture will look like this all over the 2 acres we turn them out in.B237ED5E-AB60-4B41-8C0A-756F501AC6B8.jpeg

Not sure which came first...glyphosate or the invasive weed from Africa. Unfortunately they coexist.

Last bowl tonight before heading to bed. I will be using this meerschaum 'cutty' by Henri Comoy with amber stem and 18K gold band of indeterminate age. Tonight to celebrate the end of my annual tax nightmare I am going to open one of these Eicken tins since everyone has told me this tobacco is the absolute best stuff ever made. Tomorrow will be an insanely busy day and I will be tied up till early afternoon so I am getting my pipes and tobacco dejour ready for tomorrow. In the mean time I wish you all a pleasant evening and hope you are keeping warm. I will see you all tomorrow if the 'Big Guy' upstairs wills it is so, as opposed to the other 'Big Guy' who hangs out in the White House but only wants 10%!!

Yeah, looks like you need to nuke that stuff. I got two 2.5 gallon jugs of 41% concentrate before the price went up. Round Up is my friend. Trimec is great fot the lawn but it won't touch poison ivy, Virginia creeper or briars.
