Thank you. I am honored to be recognized in the “ fellowship of the clay”!
I am really enjoying the smoking experience provided in the clay pipes.
They provide a wonderful, full-flavor smoke. I’m definitely picking up new flavor or taste notes on the blends I’ve smoked so far.
@Fralphog Welcome to the Fellowship of the Clay! Had a day in medieval times yesterday; been sawing firewood to give to Jane (my support worker) who has a log fire. She's hoping to go all winter wthout buying any firewood!
Gave the computer a day off yesterday; had a good warm-up by the pub fire & a few pints of Real Ale - Delicious!
When I went to the Battle of Nantwich last January I had a memorable clay pipe smoke with one of the re-enactors followed by a good warm-up by the pub fire after we'd smoked our pipes.
This is the pub where I had a tankard of ale and a clay pipe of GH Brown Twist with one of the Sealed Knot re-enactors:
The smoking shelter could have been made for the Sealed Knot:)
Our beer and pipeweed went down well!

@PaulRVA Welcome to the Fellowship of the Clay my friend! Nice pipe!
Thank you His Royal Majesty @The Clay King Glad to be in your Kingdom however the above reply was an attachment of a Clay belonging to @Silverback Here in the States. I’ve saved up some special tobacco, so my next trip to Jamestown / Colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown Will include a purchase of an appropriate clay to smoke in your honor.

@PaulRVA Sounds good to me! I don't think they'd let me into Virginia (Jamestown / Williamsburg) as they'd think the Clay King would smoke all the tobacco harvest:)

Well if your ever over here in Virginia I will ensure you have the opportunity to do just that.
Definitely pack the Redcoat!
@PaulRVA Not sure what reception a Redcoat would get in Virginia; I'd like to visit Jamestown and the colonial sites but not sure if I'd be allowed to smoke a clay (due to smoking bans)...
