Now smoking year 2010 FVF in a much cherished smooth, brown straight grain three quarter bend 1979 Becker M 4 heart brandy with a black acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Sutliff Ready Rubbed in a triangle shanked Dr Grabow Ring Master with green spade logo. This pipe is Italian briar and numbered 2656, it was a gift and I’ve had it a while but haven’t gotten round to researching it yet so I’m not sure when it was made. My guess would be twenties or thirties but it’s a lovely pipe regardless. 
Positively Delightful 36F just now (40 in the sun), with snow coming in a few hours...Hogshead in the 6 panel bent lattice meer and decaf

Now smoking year 2012 Astley’s No. 55 in a 1978 straight smooth brown BBB Silver Mounted 522 pot with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe lately. Going to clean a few pipes now.

Just evicted a visitor from my office who insisted on smoking some nasty arsed Japanese cigarettes that made the place smell like a East Village after hours bar. I am now powering through a bowl of S&G Black XXX twist to improve the air quality! Note the 'cutty' pipe which is the brother or sister depending on your preference (preferred pronouns 'pipe' 'meerschaum') of the one I posted the other day. This 'cutty' has a silver band with the letters AP who is assume was the maker or retailer with a hall mark featuring an anchor, lion and the letter (a) which makes the silver band a Birmingham hall mark from 1900. Who AP was I have no idea as the case has no markings or name. You will also note the color on the shank which is delightful example of 'turd' brown color caused by using this pipe exclusively for smoking oily twists as opposed to plugs. It's been a long day so a mug of tea and a large salad are in my future followed by an early bed for an equally early start. I will see you all in the morning if the 'Big Fella' upstairs deems it to be in my future. Goodnight.
