Good Saturday morning all. I didn't get up early for FA Cup footie. However, I did smoke my first two bowls of Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls. Not great but I suspect it will be after a week or so of breathing in a jar.
Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
Garage plan (may not all be today, lol). Wilke Vermont Maple/Peterson Short 230; Deep Hollow/IMP; KBV Mycroft/Peterson 4AB; ‘19 Capstan Gold/Peterson Aran 68. Fooling myself (not) into thinking if I post one pic and don’t stop “work” and post as I move on to the next, I’ll get more done.
G&H Dark Birds Eye in a tavern clay, I forgot how good clay pipes smoke, I only own one. I’m considering one with a traditional stem. Some dark roast coffee, going to copy Mr.Jiminks and enjoy some raisin bread French toast for the first time.
Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Ready Rubbed in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Watching Larceny, Inc. starring some fella who looks like me, see. Myeah!
Good weekend and pipes to all! Started with C&D John Marr in an Upshall P Skater with saddle stem followed by KBV Your Welcome in an Upshall sandblast Canadian size 4. Have a new tin of GLP Telegraph Hill I may sample later on.
Continuing with the codgers Saturday. Sir Walter Raleigh in a Kaywoodie Drinkless 7730. The stinger is in place. Seems to me this pipe and SWR were made for each other.
