I’m smoking Peterson’s Flake in this Arlington I recently picked up from Rebornpipes. Can you believe University in Osaka, Japan (where I work) was cancelled today because of cold weather? We’re talking about a few degrees below freezing. The explanation has to do with students coming from distances where there’s a bit of snow in the mountains. Um, having lived in Minnesota for 10 years I can’t fathom it. But hey, it gives me the rare opportunity to have a daytime smoke as my wife has taken our 3 year-old shopping and our 5 year-old is at kindergarten.

Now smoking Uhle’s 00 in a 2015 straight dark brown Peterson Irish Harp 150 bulldog with a silver band and a tapered acrylic cumberland fish tail stem. Decided this will be a burley forward pipe.

Half way through this bowl of 2018 Sutliff Walnut Match in an early smooth brown Radice Tiger Eye G medium bend bulldog with a bamboo-style carving on the shank with a two dot black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Did some snacking,and am passing the first third of this bowl of Ascanian No. 1 in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) The Exmoor Pipe 283 chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Before starting out my daytime shift, I will have a bowl of Amphora Burley blend in my Ashton Pebble grain short billiard.
