Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Well the kids are away with there mum for a couple of nights, so I have decided to park myself at the kitchen table and enjoy some Peterson's Signature Flake in da house. The blend is wrapped in a short Duncan pot with a saddle stem with some Necafé Gold Blend to accompany.
Happy 2023 everyone!

My first smoke of the year: Derriston (Derringer/Coniston) in a pipe that smokes beautifully every time: Peterson Irish Army #999 with an acrylic fishtail stem. Foggy and rainy here in mile high Arizona. Bourbon in my coffee.
The happiest of New Years to you all and much love.

Getting really mellow with some Newminster 400 Flake in this 1898 Meer.

Had a more than generous gift of some beautiful old Comoy’s from @ashdigger and this little treasure was in there! Rich at Briarville restored the original amber for fit and I had him make me this faux amber acrylic so I could “smoke the bell out of it” as I was advised, lol. Fit into the threaded tenon is perfect!

Working this weekend on some paying forward (and backward). Very satisfying!B80A96DA-9C6D-4716-9627-7F98D1E9BD62.jpeg

Did a set of walking reps, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Lunch follows this smoke.

@Sinzalot I've already got more than 4 boxes of clays:)
I've just noticed the man in your avatar is smoking a black clay pipe.
I do like a clay myself, I have several. Great for trying out new blends.
I used to keep a dedicated clay inside each of my Kilner jarred blends and only smoked each with it's respective blend.
I still have a clay that's about 100 years old and about 2ft long still with it's original box (I'll try and find it and post a pic)
Happy smokes fella!
