Well, a friend gifted me a tin of Cult Blood Red Moon. View attachment 193655Just cracked it today. Hmmmm. The immediate tin note was Robitussin cough med. Let some dry for a while, then packed a cob and lit up. Hmmm again. Ummm, it was the thought that counts, right? Right? Will jar it for now and try it again later. I drew a red marker on the the cob shank, just so there's no mistakes. Nonetheless, it was a nice gift

I've only experienced the room note, which I thought was quite nice..!

I learned a lesson. I had said something like "I've never tried cherry tobacco. I wonder what all the fuss is". Be careful what friend you say things like that to. Haha! Well, now I've tried cherry tobacco. And I still don't know what the fuss is.

I gave a tin to my father-in-law for Christmas. Still waiting on the report.

P.S. He was a longtime fan of Middleton Cherry, so it wasn’t a totally random experiment!

Get KBV Sakura, to experience a Boutique Cherry blend, it’s absolutely amazing!

The cherry is subtle too, and not a typical common cherry like flavor either.

Not a big fan of burley by itself but it's ok mixed with Virginia / Cavendish. Special Virginia contains some burley as do some of the Virginia / Cavendish blends I've thought of trying.
Need to get some more pipe baccy nearer the time of the re-enactments I'm going to this year.
The problem with ordering bulk tobacco from the USA is you need to order it before the event but I run the risk of smoking it all...
