Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a straight smooth brown 1950s Peterson K 608S pot with a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. First time smoking this pipe, and have noticed a light ghost has eluded me for now. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching an episode of McCloud.

Took a stroll in the hills behind my house this afternoon, and took along some Esoterica St. Ives (sample) in my La Rocca Due full bent billiard. Amazing how fast that shag cut burns. Very few birds out, probably taking early refuge from the next storm. If I can get in one more bowl before it hits, I will consider the entire weekend a smashing success. Can't believe I've been out of LA for seven full years now...tempus fugit!

Now smoking aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching a John Wayner western.

Smoking some Lane's BCA in a Blatter & Blatter Oom Paul (one white dot and one red one). Does anyone else on here ever smoke a Blatter creation? Their web site is rather restricted due to the draconian Québec tobacco and smoking laws. Kinda sad when you consider they have been making pipes in Montreal since 1907. A couple of their carvers are inducted into the prestigious "Confrérie des Maîtres-Pipiers de Saint-Claude", in France.Blatter 4 Oom Paul.JPG
