Good morning and Happy New Year, all! I‘m smoking EGR in a cob, with a hot cup of coffee and a piece of buttered toast. Trying not to spoil my appetite before we sit down to a traditional New Year’s Day meal at noon.

Happy New Year. Smoke the first tobacco at 7:00 a.m. with HH Pure Virginia, of Mac Baren, in a MM General. It tasted like glory, with my first black coffee. Now finishing smoking with: DT - Ascanian 2 in a MM Charles Cobbler...............

Only have time for one pipe today since I’ll be on the road back to Virginia after the traditional noon-day Pennsylvania meal of pork, kielbasa, sauerkraut, pierogi, pagach, haluski and cucumber salad.

It's the last weekend of regular whitetail season in my part of Texas so I'll be headed to the lease shortly. I imagine my first pipe of the year will most likely be some 2017 Vintage Dunhill Nightcap from before Peterson completely changed the blend (a little joke to start the new year)
