***What Are You Smoking, January 2022?***

Smoking some current year Half and Half in Grandpa Mac’s KW 12B, meerschaum lined bulldog.
Yesterday evenings smoke of the vintage HH was great! Adding a little bit of hydration to this tobacco really improved the smoke. It was easier to light and keep lit and flavors seemed to improve. The vintage tobacco had an amazing clean tobacco flavor with a wonderful nutty n sweet note. The first half of the bowl was the best. At one point it had a sweet-bread like flavor. ?

I took a test this morning and it came back positive. I had some mild sensations, and it immediately put me on alert. So far just a fever and feeling cold. And I'm going to bed again like a rocket. Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Been cleaning last night's and couple of today's pipes, one of which needed a deeper cleaning.

Had Covid this week with only sore throat, nasal symptoms, and occasional cough. I’m assuming the vaccine did it’s job.
