That’s roughly my plan. I’m about to finish another Alden 7 day. So I plan on having a 7 day, an 8 day and my pre-WW2 pipes. Everything else is going.
Love the honesty!I think that's a similar plan for me too: a 7-day briar set; a 7-day meer/morta set; and then 'disposable' ones/cobs when necessary.
I'm sure pipes will come in and out of the 7-day sets but I do want to refine my collection and focus more on smoking tobacco!
(That said, I just bought a new meerschaum ? - we're all hypocrites and enablers here, don't be shy boys)

Caught some flakes from the recent Gawith drop and it came in record time (a little over 48 hr) - sampling some GH&Co Dark Flake in this new AKB meerschaum I picked up to test out the weight-gained-vs-coloration theory:

My favourite pipe baccy!
I enjoyed the full packet of Virginia No. 1 I got from @marconi in my clay pipes.
I enjoyed my Full Virginia Flake in my clay pipes - there's a sense of history smoking Samuel Gawith / Gawith Hoggarth blends in a clay pipe!Just finished smoking FVF in a smooth 2002 medium bend flame grain Rinaldo Collection Silver Line silver spigot 10 Egea 03 Titania with a black acrylic stem. Time to snack and decide on the next smoke.
