Smoked some MacBaren HH Burley Flake in a thermofilter billiard. First time trying it. The tin was a couple years old and had a kind of sour smell to it, but not unpleasant. Smoked really well. To me, it's like a more mild Solani Aged Burley Flake. Either way, next time MacBaren is on sale, I'll probably pick up a bunch of tins to augment my growing stack of ABF.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of D&R Windsail in a 2013 straight black sandblasted Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baker Street with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem. This may get me to dinner time.
