Having now smoked both Sun Bear and Yoshimi’s Out Shine, I can honestly say both flavor profiles are identical; and if KBV’s intent was to “Out Shine” the Sun Bear, I’d say that he did a pretty good job. Both are excellent, but Out Shine has a slightly brighter, crisper flavor profile that sublimates the tobacco just a bit more (which to me, is fine for a morning smoke). Bravo to both companies for their out of the box blending styles.

Almost at the end of my Charatan Black Flake and wasn’t in a rush to get more. However, I just had a bowl in that meer lined Lacroix I got this week and the difference was astounding. It’s a version of Dunhill Dark Flake, but you can’t get Dunhill tobacco here anymore so Charatan and Peterson put out their own versions.... I know right! Anyway I’m interested in how my other tobaccos are gonna smoke out of it.
