Just had a half-bowl of Carter Hall in my wife's Xmas present to me - a Savinelli Dolomiti 114KS. I have read on here that this blend is good for breaking in a new briar. I think I may end up dedicating this pipe to Mac Baren Mixture: Scottish Blend as I keep coming back to that tin.
