Rattray’s Marlin Flake from Mr. Generous @alaskanpiper (thanks dude)! And I’m smoking it from your favorite shape!!! A Comoy’s Pebble Grain. I could see saying it’s slightly similar to a McClelland VA.

Hahaha, glad you are enjoying it! I don't care what shape you smoke it out of (even if it's the ugliest one ever created), as long as it smokes well! I really like Marlin Flake (especially with a couple years on it), those beautiful dark flakes. It doesn't quite have that earthy, musty, ketchupy McClelland note but it's a damn fine blend on it's own. Just a great, hearty and sweet flake and plenty dank smelling itself.

I do like Old Gowrie a little better, albeit lighter, I find it a little smoother and brighter, crisper, but I may be the minority in that opinion as Marlin Flake is pretty darn popular. It's more straightforward and classic light VA sort of blend as opposed to the deeper, pressed MF. Either way, Rattray's definitely knows what they are doing with VA based blends. Those two and Hal o the Wynd are ultra classics.

First try of Rimboche AP in a "Golden Age" bulldog! Man this stuff is good. Piquant, nutty, fruity, antique-y? Maybe? Or maybe these are just the ghosts of my bulldog which has seen many Rattrays blends. I'll have to try it in a cob a few times but yeah, so far very surprised and pleased. If you like something like Escudo I think this one is a no-brainer to stock up on.

Old Gowrie is so good..! It's burn characteristics are remarkable as well. Never tried MF but I thought HotW was great, just not as much of an all day smoke as OG.

Yeah, Old Gowrie is the real gem of the three IMO, but all three are fantastic. If you haven't had Marlin Flake i'd suggest getting ahold of some though, it's a really good blend. But yes, agreed, OG is definitely much more of an "all day smoke" and burns remarkably well.

If you like Old Gowrie, HU Louisiana Broken and HU Old Fredder's Flake are must tries as well. I found them quite similar.
