Packed for later is Mixture No. 79 in a Jobey partially point carved rusticated straight billiard, with cream color screw-in stem, a unique looker I picked up at my local independent pipe shop. The stem says France, but the shop owner suspected it had been assembled and carved maybe in the U.S. Jobey went from France, to England, to the U.S., and back to France over about fifteen years, so pinning down the place of origin of particular pipes is a divination.
