@chasingembers and @alaskanpiper , is the Cognac flavor anything like Pembroke or SH Cognac Mixture? I love those but am curious to how it works on a non lat blend..
It’s more of an aromatic than pembroke. Pembroke is a lot earthier and the latakia makes it totally different. Bagpipers is a nice blend with a medium level of topping, not goopy, just a nice blend with a nice flavor. Sweeter than pembroke, nowhere near as dark, and much brighter base tobaccos. Very good. A very interesting mixture of various cuts as well. Not like pembroke at all IMO.

A really incredible bowl of Peterson Elizabethan in a Windsor... what do you call a pipe that sort of looks like a billiard that's a bit fatter in the center and slimmer near the bottom and only slightly slimmer near the top?
