Started off earlier with some Peterson's Irish Flake rubbed out into an old Thompson bulldog meer with a big bowl and a couple of fingers of the Edradour with a drop or two of water to bring out the nose. I'd forgotten how powerful both those are but I don't think it was the scotch giving me the hiccups! After things settled down, I folded and stuffed a flake of Solani 660 Silver Flake into a sandblasted Charantan's Make double comfort chimney. Both beautiful smokes but I think I learned a lesson on Irish Flake and bowl size tonight.
