Golden Extra in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.95) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow.

Angler's Dream in a 1983 medium bend, mostly smooth, bottom rusticated Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier 3 Fait Main. I'm growing really fond of this blend.

My usual Sunday morning (only day off) treat. Dunhill EMP in a no-name straight apple with a huge bowl. And a big cup of really good coffee. If I didn't have play with power tools this morning, I might even have added some rum to it.

I'm having a mix of McClelland's 2035 (Dark Navy Flake) and a pinch from the "remainders" can - some 1-Q and "natural cavendish" (which is neither) with some coffee.

GLP Union Square in a Savinelli "Bing's Favorite" Brownblast Billiard.
It took me some time to really appreciate Union Square. I'm more an English smoker, and this straight Virginia did not impress at first. However, after letting it air-dry a bit, and rubbing it out along with a very light packing it smoked very well in this particular pipe. Halfway though the bowl I began to notice the wonderful sweetness, and it stayed dry and pleasant for over an hour of smoking.
The room note is very pleasant, and I am moving this up from the "ok" category to the "good" category.
