bought a MM Shire when they first came out. Their vulcanite stems were cast, and there were ridges on the sides of the tenon that prevented me from removing my stem the first time I tried, and like a dumbass, I broke it off inside the shank. That left me with a broken stem and part of it still stuck in the shank. I salvaged the broken stem to use on non filter cobs. The replacement stem that Marilyn sent to me (free of charge!) can also be inserted and used in filter cobs.Interesting can you tell us more about the vulcanite stem with the Missouri Meerschaum Morgan?
Thanks. Interesting. I did not know there were any vulcanite stems for cobs, but then, I have not been paying attention or looking for any. It’s my one complaint about MM cobs, the cheap plastic stems, the bits feel uncomfortable on my teeth. That does not stop me from smoking them, or buying more. One more thing, your 3rd bowl already this morning? Isn’t it like 5:00 a.m.? Good on you!bought a MM Shire when they first came out. This a.m. I'm on about my third bowl. This one is Big n Burley in a small apple meer.
Beautiful grain. Beautiful shape. Sigmund do you even own just an average ordinary plain looking pipe? Or is each more stunning than the previous?
Imagine my relief when - having forgotten the day entirely - Mrs Badger apologized to me across the breakfast table for not having bought me a card...so I too confessed my own sin of omission, and we gave each other absolutionJust another Hallmark holiday. Sorry, but why do women fall for that crap ? Smoking Cairo in a Castle Briars.
haha...I got infected by PAD and really...no...any normal pain old pipe gets sold if I happen to have it. Thanks. I have gotten more picky about what I buy which saves me money. Also most area estates.Beautiful grain. Beautiful shape. Sigmund do you even own just an average ordinary plain looking pipe? Or is each more stunning than the previous?
